What If You Could Relocate To Sweden Through A Swedish-Government-Funded Master's Scholarship, Bring Your Family Along And Get A Job After You Finish, Even If You Graduated With Second Class Lower?
Right after I won this scholarship in 2017, I started an online community to teach other applicants how to succeed in their applications:

And over the past years, more than 31 members of our community have gone on to win this $50,000-valued full Master's scholarship in SWEDEN.
...a total of over $1.5 million dollars in scholarship value won by candidates who participated in my coaching sessions.
Some of them with Second Class Lower degrees.
You'll read about some of them in this post.
Just give me a few minutes of your time and I'll show you how you too can be part of this group of Africans giving themselves this opportunity of catapulting their earning potentials while travelling the world.

Dear Friend,
Let's face the fact.
You're tired.
You've toiled so hard and it seems your efforts are not rewarded with the appopriate financial success you deserve.
True...you're doing well, but...
You see your former classmates and friends on Instagram studying, living abroad....
You both graduated from the same university...
Same course....
In fact, you might even have better grades than they had...
But, it is evident to you that their hardwork abroad is rewarded with the financial success they deserve.
You deserve same...even more...
They don't work harder than you do.
They've not taken as many professional courses as you have.
They don't wake up 4am everyday to go to work.
The only difference is your location.
You know that in your heart.
If someone like you with your level of education...your brilliance...your hardwork...your hustle spirit...you "never giving up" attitude...
If someone like you gets the chance to have a small taste of studying abroad...
You know how much you're going to crush it!
You know deeply in your heart that you're going to absolutely crush any opportunities that come your way when you start studying abroad.
And your success will affect your immediate family...
Because you can bring your family to also come enjoy the same economic opportunities as you...
Your wife...your husband...your children....your sister...your brother...your parents.
They will all feel it.
And you know what happens to your generation after this?
Your lineage has been influenced forever!
Why?
Because you gathered the boldness to apply for studies abroad!
All because someone...YOU...took the step to grab the study abroad opportunity.
This has become a classic case of blessing flowing down through a family by the action of ONE PERSON!
That person being YOU!
I'm offering you this opportunity TODAY!
Follow me closely.
How Living In Sweden Can Change Your Life
Am I Saying That Living In Sweden Is Like Heaven?
Lol.
I would be a lying, dishonest, scammy buffoon if I claim that Sweden is like heaven.
Every country in the world has its own issues.
But, the issues you're currently contending with are not what you'll be facing when you come to Sweden.
You won't be worried about travelling to another part of your country because you're afraid of getting kidnapped for a ransom.
You won't be worried about being summarily shot when you're protesting for better living conditions.
I know what is going through your mind right now.
You're asking, what about racism in Sweden?
True, there's racism in Sweden, just like in every country.
Including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, etc.
We just happen to call it "tribalism" back home.
But, they're the same thing.
I've been in Sweden since 2017, but I've never experienced any overt, in-your-face racial attack.
That's my own personal experience.
How You Can Take Advantage Of This Opportunity
In August, 2019, just before I finished my Master's studies in Sweden, I got an offer for a job as a Project Engineer in a consulting firm in Stockholm, Sweden, a city largely known as the startup capital of Europe. After this, I applied for a work permit.
In January, 2020, the Swedish Migration Agency approved my work permit application and granted me a residence permit for work in Sweden.

But, it was not always like this for me.
Because, just in 2014, I was still gallivanting about the city of Aba, which is not far from the village where I served as a corper (national service) in Abia State, Nigeria.

What made the difference for me?
It was a full scholarship from the Swedish government for Master's studies in Sweden.
And how did I win this scholarship?
What steps did I take to win the scholarship?
Follow me as I'm about to give you the lowdown of my journey...

I will never forget the day I received news that I had won a full scholarship for Master's studies in the Scandinavian country of Sweden.
It was a warm Friday morning in Abuja, Nigeria.
April 7th, 2017.

I was at work, periodically checking my email inbox in expectation of the unlikely news of winning the scholarship.
The Swedish Institute had earlier said that they would only be contacting successful candidates.
So, me checking my email inbox expectantly could be termed an act of faith.
But, applying for a scholarship where you're competing with students from all over the world, including from Asia, South America and other African countries, required much more than faith from me.
There was an intense one year period of preparation I put into it.
December, 2015. This was when I made a decision to start applying for Master's studies abroad.
I was tired.
And this might be you too. Tired and frustrated.
I knew there was more I could do with my life but being Nigerian in Nigeria meant there's just a limit to what you can achieve.
Think of this.
If Mark Zuckerberg had been born in Nigeria, he most likely would never have created Facebook.
He might have been killed by the police for being a software developer and carrying a laptop around.
I wanted out.
Just like you want out.
So, I started searching the internet for scholarship opportunities just like you're currently doing.
I saw lots of them, but a lot of them had these stringent requirements and all.
Most of them required a First Class Degree. I graduated with Second Class Upper.
Some of them were for countries where English tests, IELTS/TOEFL were required. And those tests cost a lot of money.
But, I had no money to be writing any English test.
Then, I stumbled on the
Swedish Institute Scholarship.
You see all those limitations I mentioned above about other scholarships?
The Swedish Institute Scholarship never required any of them!
No First Class required!
No IELTS/TOEFL or any other English test required!
So, what were the requirements?
Before I tell you about what their requirements were, what really sold me about the Swedish Institute Scholarship were the benefits that each winner was guaranteed to enjoy:
- 1If you win the scholarship, your full tuition fees will be paid for by the Swedish government.
- 2Monthly allowance of SEK 9000 when I got the scholarship, which has now been increased to 10,000 SEK (that’s about US$1,049)
- 315,000 SEK (about US$1,573) for your transportation expenses from your home country to Sweden.
- 46-Months residence permit to look for job after studies, which has now been increased to 12 months residence permit. Once you get a job, you can convert this to a work permit.
- 5Visa-free travel to 27 European countries with your Swedish study permit.
When you sit down to calculate the value of all these benefits of the scholarship for a 2-year Master’s programme, it all sums up to about a whopping $50,000!!!
That's about NGN 20 million or GHS 290,000 or Ksh 5 million!!!
And you know the interesting part?
There is no limit on age or how long ago you finished your degree.
The application process is even cheaper when compared to other countries.
The scholarship application is free, but because you need to apply for admission first before applying for the scholarship, you need to pay an application fee of 900 Swedish krones (about N50,000 or GHS600) to University Admissions in Sweden.
This admission application fee covers 4 FOUR choices of Master's programmes.
Meaning you only pay 900 Swedish krones to apply for 4 FOUR Master's programmes.
You know how MASSIVE this is?
If you want to apply for Master's in other countries, like Canada, the US, UK, you'd have to pay an application fee of about $100 for each course you're interested in.
Meaning if you want to apply for 4 courses, you have to pay about $400!
This is not the case with Sweden.
I mean, when compared to the other scholarships, it was a no brainer for me.
After I reviewed the requirements and saw how easy the requirements were, I went all in for the Swedish Institute Scholarship.
I paid my admission application fee the very first day application started, October 16, 2016, even though the deadline for payment was still far away in January 2017.
When I'm committed to something, I go all in!
The requirements for the scholarship included:
- 1Work experience of at least 3000 hours. Which is equivalent to 1 and a half years of working for 8 hours per day. Your 6-months internship and 1-year national service (NYSC) should be able to cover for this.
- 2Leadership experience which has no minimum hour requirement.
If you’ve had any leadership experience from university, that qualifies too. I used my leadership experience from my university fellowship to apply for this scholarship. - 3Motivation letter. The Swedish Institute provides a template for this, so you don't even have to worry about how to write it.
- 4Reference letter. They also provide a template for this, making it easy for your referees to fill out.
- 5CV. You guessed right. There's a template for this too. Easy peasy.
- 6Proof of Work/Leadership Experience forms, whose templates are also provided for your referees to use. They don’t even need any leadership certificate from you.
But the catch is....
The scholarship is quite competitive.
I mean, a scholarship like this, full coverage throughout studies, with relatively easy requirements, is expected to receive lots of applications from all over the world.
About 9000 people applied for this scholarship in the last round, but only between 300 - 400 people win it every year.
But, this doesn't mean you can't win the scholarship.
When I was applying for the scholarship, that was the first time ever in my life of applying for graduate studies abroad.
I never had any experience of applying for studying abroad before that time.
I didn't have a First Class degree.
But, there were things I did before I applied that helped me submit a strong application.
This was why in 2017, I decided to develop a programme to teach applicants what to do to submit strong applications for the scholarship even with the limitations of low grades or inexperience.
When the results were announced in April 2018, 5 participants of this programme won the same scholarship in Sweden!
One of them was Denis, from Rwanda.
Denis, from Rwanda
(Admitted for Master's Programme in Horticultural Science at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences)

"Mobolaji's mentorship helped me with guidelines on how to write a convincing motivation letter, with tips like mentioning your leadership experience, connecting your job to SDGs."
I improved this coaching programme once again for the 2019 Class and on April 24, 2020, 10 members of this Class won the scholarship!
Which include: Olumide, from Nigeria, and Winnie, from Uganda.
Olumide, from Nigeria
He won the scholarship for the Business Administration Master's Programme at Kristianstad University, Kristianstad, Sweden.
Winnie, from Uganda
(Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden)

"Mobolaji played a very a big role in the success of my application given the fact that I had tried twice and not succeeded. He made the process a lot easier, however it is only easy when you follow instructions, do the assignments he gives and by being proactive."
For the 2020 Class, some of them reached out to me about winning this full scholarship:
Oluwaseyi, who finished with a Second Class Lower degree and that didn't stop her from winning a full Master's scholarship in Sweden and started studies in August, 2021.

William, also won a full Master's scholarship in Sweden and has also started studies in August, 2021.

Same with Tosin, who also won a full Master's scholarship in Sweden and started studies in August, 2021.

Dirikumo applied for the scholarship in 2020 but was placed on reserve list.
He applied again this year, and got in! He started studies in August, 2021.

For some others, they got full scholarships from the universities they applied to:
Like Kazeem, who got admitted with 100% tuition scholarship....

And Adesola, who also got admitted with scholarship...

And Solomon, who won 100% full tuition scholarship at University of Gothenburg, Sweden...

And Mary, who on her first time ever of applying for a scholarship, won 100% full tuition scholarship at Umea University in the north of Sweden...

Am I Saying My Program Guarantees You The Scholarship?
I would NEVER make that claim.
What my program guarantees is to help you present a strong application for the scholarship.
Granting the scholarship is the sole responsibility of the Swedish Institute.
What we do is teach you things to do to avoid mistakes and present a compelling application.
We've improved the program again, and we're now enrolling participants for the 2022 Class.

I'm assuming this is your first time of applying for admission or scholarship abroad.
Or you've applied once, twice, thrice, before and never got it.
Maybe you've never applied for a scholarship ever before, whether in your country or abroad.
The point I'm trying to make is, at the moment, you do not know what it takes to win a scholarship abroad.
True or False?
You do not know what these universities and scholarships in Europe look out for in your application.
This is where the 2022 Scholarship Prepclass comes in.
The 2022 Scholarship Prepclass is an intensive class of group coaching calls, online support group, instructional materials designed to equip you with all the skills and resources you need to present a strong application for the $50,000-Valued Swedish Institute Scholarship.
As I mentioned earlier, the Autumn admission application started on October 18, and the deadline to select and apply for courses is January 17. Deadline to submit documents and pay your application fee is February 1, 2022.
The SI full scholarship application will follow after on February 10, and end on February 28, 2022.
You have to apply for admission first before applying for the scholarship.
From what I've said so far, you might be asking yourself this question:
"Do I still stand the chance of winning the scholarship even though I've not yet started my admission application?"
And my response to that is, ABSOLUTELY!
Why?
Because of the experience of one of the members of our community, Chike, who won the scholarship.
As at the November of the year he was applying, he didn't know the application had already started a month earlier in October.
See his first email to me then:

But, he won the scholarship for that application round.
After he won the scholarship in April, 2019, see what he said:
- 1How to avoid mistakes that can cost you admission/scholarship. As I mentioned earlier, I'm assuming you've never won a full Master's scholarship abroad before. If you've applied before and you were not successful, I'll be showing you what mistakes you could have been making that has been turning off these scholarship boards. And if this is your first time of applying, don't waste your time and resources trying to do it all alone.
- 2How to select the least competitive Master’s programmes. If you want to increase your chances of getting admitted, you should apply to the courses that don't have much competition. But how do you determine this?....Through past admission statistics. I'll show you where to get past admission statistics and how to interprete them appropriately.
- 3How to understand the ECTS credit requirements for each course. When you check out admission requirements for universities in Europe, you'll see them mention ECTS. What does it mean? How do you convert ECTS to your local grade system? This Prepclass will show you how.
- 4How to accurately fill the required documents for the scholarship: motivation letter, CV, reference letter, proof of work & leadership experience. These are the most important aspects of your application. That's why I did detailed analysis of how to fill them. You'll have access to these when you join us.
- 5How to correctly apply on the admissions and scholarship website. After preparing great essays and you're ready to submit, any mistake in filling the scholarship online questionnaire can derail your application totally. I'll show you how to fill this questionnaire in the way they want.
- 6How to apply and win between 50% - 100% university tuition fee waivers, even if you graduated with Second Class Lower. Some members of my mentorship group have won partial, full-tuition fees scholarships from the universities they got admitted to. I'll show you too how to secure this.
- 7How to position yourself for a job/PhD in Sweden before you finish your Master's studies. I'm sure your goal after all this, is to get a job, PhD and settle down abroad. I'll show you what you should be doing to get a work permit before or after you finish your studies in Sweden.
- 8How to attain permanent residence and citizenship in Sweden, through the Master's studies route. You're coming as a Master's student, how do you transition to get permanent residence in Sweden? It's possible. I'll show you the pathways to getting permanent residence and citizenship starting with Master's studies here in Sweden.
I've Been Teaching This Since 2017...

Monthly Group Coaching Calls
I host group live meetings on Zoom with all members of the class every month about different aspects of the application. You'll be able to attend these meetings for 12 months.
I'll be sharing insights with you about what you need to be doing now to prepare ahead.
We'll also be inviting past members of this Prepclass who have moved to Sweden to share from their experiences.
You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about any topic about Master's studies in Sweden and receive immediate support and guidance.

Hear from some other participants in this programme that have that also won the Swedish scholarship in previous years:
Who Is This Class For?
Is the Scholarship Guaranteed?
See ehn, if I had the unilateral power to grant this scholarship to anyone I please, you think I wouldn't have given every African applicant this scholarship?
But, that's not how it works.
No one is guaranteed this scholarship.
I had no guarantee of winning the scholarship before I applied.
I just believed in putting in my best to submit a strong application for the scholarship.
And that's what this Scholarship Prep Class is designed to do.
To show you what things you need to do to put in a strong application for the scholarship.
Did I hear you say it's all on YouTube?
Yeah. You're absolutely right.
There's literally no information you need about the scholarship that Google or YouTube cannot help you find.
But, can you find an African scholarship recipient with work experience in Sweden/Europe who has been in your exact same shoes before, who is ready to guide you, devote attention to you and answer your questions for the next 12 months, through Google or YouTube?
That's what Google/YouTube cannot get you.
Since this scholarship is not guaranteed, what are even my chances of winning it with my profile? How am I sure it will work for me?
See, as long as you have at least a Second Class Lower Bachelor's degree and work experience of at least 1 and a half years in a field related to your field of studies, you have a good chance of winning the scholarship.
All I had when applying for the scholarship was a Second Class Upper Bachelor's degree, 2 years work experience in a field that is not even directly related to my field of studies.
I studied Mechanical Engineering, but my work experience was in telecommunications.
All it boils down to is how to effectively and truthfully sell your profile to the scholarship award board.
This is what I teach in this program.
And you know the interesting thing?
I've received messages in the past from some participants of our lessons who have gone on to win scholarships in other countries, not just Sweden.
For example, this is a Facebook message I received in May 2020, from someone who won the DAAD Scholarship for Master's in Germany.

An email from Jude who won the Erasmus Mundus full Master's scholarship in March 2021 that will be taking him to Poland and Sweden.

Another email from Afeez in March 2021 who will be travelling to Germany on the DAAD Scholarship.

The tips and lessons we've shared in the past helped these candidates also present strong applications for scholarships for Master's studies in Germany and Poland.
Do you see yourself sending me these kinds of messages in the coming months?
Is it compulsory to join this class before you can win the scholarship?
I want you to know that it's NOT compulsory to join this coaching class before you can win the scholarship.
Hundreds of people win this scholarship every year without even knowing who I am or what we do at Scholars.Africa.
As many people as have been able to use our lessons to win the scholarship, I want you to know that many more who do not know me have won the scholarship.
So, you can still win the scholarship without joining this class.
But, seeing that this might be your first time of applying for studies abroad or maybe your second, third time, do you think it'll be worth it to be coached by someone who has helped many others win full Master's scholarships abroad?
When is the deadline to join the class?
I know there are lots of factors you have to consider before joining this coaching class.
I understand this.
And that's why I'm giving you an opportunity to take enough time to do your own research and make up your mind about this.
I wouldn't want people who are not committed to this process to join this coaching class.
Go through my emails, my social media posts, blog posts on the Scholars.Africa website.
They're loaded with information to help you decide.
Digest the information in them.
Google "Master's in Sweden", "Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals".
Check the scholarship website and see for yourself.
Then, when you're convinced, come back to this page and join the class.
If you're still not convinced this scholarship has your name written on it, fine, it's no problem.
However, note that we review the fee for this coaching class upwards regularly.
